Maison & Objet pushed back in January

PARIS —Maison & Objet is breaking with tradition and will move its January 2003 event further back in the month. The show, which usually begins late in the second week of January, is now scheduled for Jan. 24 to 28 at Paris Nord Villepinte.
The shift was made to avoid the post-holiday period of inventory reviews and clearance sales, the trade show said. The winter show in 2003 will be held at the same time that fashion exhibitions are taking place at Porte de Versailles.
Dates for the fall 2002 show are Sept. 6 to 10.
