Eddie Bauer taps sr. vp

REDMOND, WA — Eddie Bauer has appointed Engle Saez as senior vp, chief creative officer. Reporting directly to Steve Newman, president of apparel, Saez will also serve as a member of the company's executive cabinet.
In his new post, Saez will provide global strategic vision and creative definition for the Eddie Bauer brand across all channels — retail, catalog and e-commerce — and concepts — Eddie Bauer, Eddie Bauer Home and Eddie Bauer Outlet.
Saez was most recently at Starbucks Coffee Co., where he served as senior vp of marketing and category management.
Saez had also served as chairman and ceo at the apparel business AtlanticRancher Co. and has held key roles at Esprit de Corp., The Stride Rite Corp., G.H. Bass and Co. and the Timberland Co.
