Robert Allen ceo resigns

NEW YORK — Ron Kass has resigned as ceo of the Robert Allen Group.
Kass, who joined the company in 1994 and headed the company's turnaround, said. "I have wanted for some time to own part of a company and now will pursue my personal goal — teaming up with a major private equity firm to pursue acquisitions in the home and office furnishings and related industries."
Kass will stay on for several weeks to assist in the transition of ownership to Ron Cordover and Jeff Cordover, chairman/ ceo and vice chairman respectively, of the Robert Allen Group.
