Wellman ups prices

AT THE NEW YORK MARKET — Wellman will increase the price for its polyester staple fibers five cents a pound, effective with April 29 shipments.
The increase will affect textile fiber, fiberfill, non-wovens and carpet fiber. The increase is due to raw material costs, the company said.
