TROY, MI — Martha Stewart Everyday and Kmart have expanded the choices for bedtime looks with the new Complete Bed collection, which consists of a full bedding ensemble in five patterns.
The collection, which began rolling out in January, is currently in Kmart stores nationwide and on bluelight.com. Eventually it will be available on marthastewart.com as well.
Produced by Springs Industries, the components are produced both domestically and abroad and include a comforter, a bed skirt, fitted and flat sheets, pillowcases and pillow shams in one package.
Martha Stewart Everyday produced a similar bedding program in 1998, but it was not as fully assorted with product and was taken off line after less than a year.
Positioned at the 4-Star Bed and Bath level, sheets are constructed of 200-count 60/40 cotton/poly blend fabric. Depending on the pattern, the comforter face is made of 100 percent cotton duck cloth, 100 percent cotton Chino cloth or 100 percent cotton denim cloth, and the comforter is stuffed with polyester fiberfill.
The five introductory patterns are a traditional floral, a modern khaki , a denim look, a green paisley and a blue floral.
The retail for a twin set, with one pillowcase and sham, is $59.99 on sale, regularly $79.99. Full, queen and king sets, with two pillowcases and shams, are on sale for $79.99, $89.99 and $99.99, respectively — regularly $89.99, $99.99 and $109.99. Coordinating accessories are also available, including pillowcases ($9.99 on sale, regularly $10.99), valances ($12.99) and square and neck roll decorative pillows ($14.99).
In addition, the Summer Garden pattern is available in matching shower curtains, towels, bath rugs and accessories.
