Peking debuts Nanette Lepore Home

New York - The colorful and feminine sensibility of fashion designer Nanette Lepore is moving into home textiles through a licensing agreement with Peking Handicraft, which will preview four bed sets during the New York Home Fashions Market.

"It is very dress-maker detailed - lots of special touches," said Carol Antone, PKH's vp of creative.

Compared to Peking's Trina Turk line, the nanette lepore brand "has a lot more details, a lot more bling, a lot more ruching," said Antone.

Among the launch designs - showing on mini-beds during market week and slated to convert to full bed presentations in May/June - are a full panel print, a print on sateen and a full-panel eyelet in spearmint laid over a black ground.
Peking will also introduce a duvet cover program built around Lepore's signature feather logo in a variety of colors.
