China Weaving readies for market week

HTT Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 3/13/2013 1:49:25 PM

New York - China Weaving will introduce five new top of bed designs along with reversible sheets, lace sheet sets and eyelet sheet sets during the New York Home Fashions Market.
The company will also show numerous bed-in-a-bag sets at its showroom at 261 Fifth Ave. The company also produces duvet sets, quilts, dec pillows, table linens and comforters.

China Weaving is the US marketing and design arm of Hua Fang Co. Limited and Value Source Int'l. Co. Limited, a vertical manufacturing company that covers spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, cut and sew.

"We are confident that our vertical set up will enable us to build a strong and reliable strategic partnership with retailers," said ceo Del Chen, who is based in China.
The company's core strength is the production of various types of sheets in all thread counts, including performance sheets and decorative sheets.
In addition to shipping directly from China, the company plans to open a US warehouse with EDI capability.

President Michael Liu, based in the New York office, said: "Our goal is to bring our tremendous offshore resources and capabilities closer to the retailer with a broad range of products at more affordable prices. Worldwide manufacturing with a local service is our offering"

Janet Solomon, senior vp of sales & marketing, has many years of experience working for major retailers and manufacturers. "We are very excited to bring this business model to the US market. Retailers will benefit from this and be able to offer their customers quality products at great prices."
