Soft-Tex expands US and Asia operations

Waterford, N.Y. - Soft-Tex Manufacturing Company is adding to the manufacturing base of its specialty sleep products in the US and in Asia.
This spring, Soft-Tex is slated to open a new distribution center in Charleston, S.C., which will provide increased customer service capabilities in the region. "This new facility enables us to more efficiently respond to our customers through shorter lead times with closer proximities," said Arthur Perry, president and co-owner of Soft-Tex Mfg.Co.
In addition, Soft-Tex has doubled its Asian operations with an expanded quality control initiative, involving both increased personnel and system enhancements. Initiatives include monitored testing protocols.
"This will assist us in addressing specific consumer requirements for the many unique and varied programs we offer," said Perry.
During the New York Home Fashions Market, Soft-Tex will unveil its newly renovated showroom space at New York Market Center, 230 Fifth Avenue, Suite 1204.
"While our other expansion efforts are extremely important and will ultimately improve our level of customer service, this showroom is important, as it will give us a fresh space to present our vision of the future to buyers," said Perry, "In addition to a new show space, we wanted to make sure we provided a relaxing area where our sales team can work with their buyers."
