1800 Get A Rug holding contest on Facebook

HTT Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 2/15/2013 12:00:25 PM

Carlstadt, N.J. - Rug importer, wholesaler and retailer 1800 Get A Rug said it has launched a customer contest on Facebook for $1,000 worth of hand-knotted rugs.
"We have the best customers in the world. We launched this contest to reward them and any potential new customers," the company said in a statement. "We specialize in hand-knotted rugs, crafted with care over long periods of time. While these rugs tend to be more expensive than ‘tufted rugs,' the superior quality makes them priceless, lasting for generations and often becoming family heirlooms."
The contest can be viewed and entered on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/1800GetaRug/app_12891668727252. The winner will be chosen at random, the company said.
1800 Get A Rug offers a wide range of rugs, hand-knotted in traditional weaving areas such as Nepal, China, Tibet or Turkey.
