Home Depot to boost spring seasonal hiring

Atlanta - Home Depot thinks things are looking up and announced it will hire 80,000 temporary employees for the busy spring season - 10,000 more than it took on last year.
Noting spring is to Home Depot what the holiday season is to most general merchants, executive vp of human resources Tim Crow said: "We find some of our best associates during our peak season, and many of them have built long, meaningful careers with us."
Home Depot plans to kick off the season with door-buster prices on popular spring merchandise.
