Surya nabs two honors at AmericasMart Magnificent Carpet Awards

Calhoun, Ga. -- Home accessory solutions brand Surya was recently honored at the 2013 America's Magnificent Carpet Awards in Atlanta with two recognitions for excellence in rug design.

Produced by AmericasMart in conjunction with partners Sandow Media -- parent of Home Textiles Today -- and the Oriental Rug Importers Association, the gala event annually honors the top rug introductions for the year. It is held during the International Atlanta Area Rug Market each January.

In the category of "Hand-Loomed, Hand-Tufted / Suggested Retail of $8.01-$16.00 per Square Foot," Surya was recognized for its new BAN-3326 transitional design within its Banshee collection.

And in the "Licensee Design / Any Retail Price" category, Surya also took home the award for its graphic FAL-1036 design within its Fallon Collection by Jill Rosenwald.
