One Kings Lane renews Gift for Life sponsorship

HTT Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 1/23/2013 12:54:53 PM

New York - Online retailer has renewed its corporate sponsorship of Gift for Life, the gift, stationery and home decor industries' leading charitable organization. In addition to a direct contribution, One Kings Lane will repeat its sales event of last August, offering curated items from New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF) to benefit Gift for Life.

"One Kings Lane is quite simply the best sort of partner one can have," said Leslie Nathan-Street, chair of the Gift for Life board. "It is a successful business with tremendous heart, offering a unique set of support programs for Gift for Life."

"Gift for Life's mission is more important than ever, and we are proud to build awareness and support the cause through this special curated sales event," said Susan Feldman, co-founder and chief merchandising officer of One Kings Lane.

Items in the sale will come from a special "Open House" trend and product display during the summer 2013 NYIGF, which will take place Aug. 17-21, 2013 at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Piers. The three-day sale will open on Sunday, Aug. 18 at www.onekingslane.com

During this month's winter edition of the NYIGF, Gift for Life will host its annual Party for Life on Sunday, Jan. 27, at The Boathouse at Central Park. Individual tickets are $125. For details, contact Steven Williams at swilliams@diffa.org, (212) 727-3100.

Proceeds from the party will benefit DIFFA, which raises funds for HIV/AIDS service and education programs.
