Target debuts online-only brands

HTT Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 1/21/2013 1:35:23 PM

Minneapolis - Home textiles are part of four new collections among the six Target has introduced to be sold exclusively on its ecommerce site.
Room 365 bedding focuses on modern prints that can transition from season to seaon.
Zutano Blue, by European children's apparel designer Uli Belenky, includes clothing, bedding and décor for the young ones.
MudHut is a textured collection of bedding, textiles and home accessories tapping the saturated hues of Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Boho Boutique includes an assortment of bedding, table linens, curtains, shower curtains and other home furnishings that pair whimsical prints with bold textures.
Target also launched two other web exclusives this week. TOO by Blue Dot offers modern home décor pieces, and LabWorks is a contemporary apparel collection.
"We're excited about these new brands and how they're helping us further differentiate Target.com from other online retailers," said Theresa Schmidt, a Target divisional merchandise manager. "We know our guests are increasingly connected and are shopping online more, so we wanted to offer guests something new, unique and unexpected."
