Sears Canada cfo Sharon Driscoll to leave company

Toronto- Sharon R. Driscoll, who has been senior vice president and chief financial officer of retailer Sears Canada, is leaving to pursue other interests, the company said.
Driscoll, who has been with Sears Canada since November 2008 and in her current position since December 2010, will step down effective Jan. 4.
The company said it is searching for a replacement. In the interim, company officials said processes are in place that will allow the finance functions to continue operating seamlessly.
"I want to thank Sharon for her service to Sears over the past four years," said Calvin McDonald, president and ceo. "On behalf of the entire management team, I wish her all the best in her future endeavors."
Sears Canada, one of Canada's largest furniture, mattress and appliance retailers, has a network that includes 195 corporate stores, 269 hometown dealer stores and more than 1,500 catalog and online merchandise pickup locations.
