Costa Mesa, Calif. - Anna's Linens has hired long-time Macy's home department buyer Jeannie Wolf as senior buyer for tabletop and housewares, two categories poised for rapid expansion.
Wolf spent 22 years as a buyer for Macy's. Before that, she was at tabletop leader Gibson Overseas Inc. and PTS in key account management positions.
"I am honored to be joining the Anna's team," said Wolf. "I have been challenged to grow the assortment quickly and can't wait to begin."
Anna's plans to make hardlines expansion a key focus area next year after conducting studies that found its customers are seeking more than just home textiles from the store.
"We have placed strong emphasis on growing our housewares assortment and look forward to leveraging her knowledge and experience to provide our customers with a compelling reason to choose Anna's in the category," said Carie Doll, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer.
We would love your feedback!
