Surya moves into larger Atlanta showroom

Calhoun, Ga. - As its product offering grows into a broader scope of rugs and accessories, Surya Inc. is moving its presence at the Atlanta AmericasMart to a larger space in the Gift & Home area, and out of the rug section.

Located in space 11-A-1 in Building 1, the new showroom measures 13,500 square feet, which is double the size of its former site on the sixth floor.

"We're excited about this expansion. The larger space on the home accessory geared 11th floor will allow us to showcase a complete range of Surya's lifestyle products in a more convenient location," said Satya Tiwari, president. The new space officially opens its doors on January 9th when the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market gets started.

On an aggressive growth track to expand its reach over the next five years, Surya's AmericasMart move follows its spring 2012 relocation into an also larger showroom space - measuring 26,000 square feet - in High Point at Showplace 4100, as well as the company's expansion into smaller regional shows such as the Tupelo Furniture Market.

The company's product breadth has also evolved in recent years toward a more complete home accessories solution for retailers. Surya now offers not only a range of area and accent rugs but also decorative pillows, throws, poufs and wall art.
