FIT to host global sourcing seminar in January

New York - Fashion Institute of Technology in tandem with Setlog Corp., a state-of-the-art supply chain management, information technology and system implementation service company, are presenting a special seminar on global sourcing in mid January for industry professionals.
Titled "Global Sourcing - Critical Solutions for an Optimized Process," the seminar is scheduled Jan. 15 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. and will take place at FIT's campus here by its Center for Professional Studies. Topics to be discussed will range from product development to product delivery and are aimed at helping attendees "gain better bottom line control and performance."
Speakers include top-level executives from: Escada Group, Gerson & Gerson, Natific, Walter Wilhelm Associates, Gerber/Yunique, and Setlog.
The Escada Group's director of operations, Jan Hilger, will explain why optimizing every process is critical to success not just in sourcing but in every aspect of sales and distribution.
