Target announces 11th new store site for 2013 to be in Denver

Denver -- Target Corp. will open a new store here in July 2013, marking the 11th new unit the discount chain plans to open next year across the United States.

This new Target store, set to be located in The Tamarac Square at the corner of East Hampden Avenue and South Tamarac Drive, will measure about 135,000 square feet

The store will offer the same everyday essentials and exclusive brands Target carries at all of its stores, and will feature an expanded food selection including an assortment of fresh produce, fresh packaged meat and pre-packaged baked goods. On site there will also be a Starbucks and a Target pharmacy.

"We are very excited to bring another Target to the great city of Denver," said Mark Everett, group director of stores. "This new Target will bring approximately 200 new jobs to the Denver area, adding to the thousands of team members already working at more than 40 stores throughout the state of Colorado."
