Family Dollar names new marketing chief

Matthews, N.C. - Family Dollar has appointed Jocelyn Wong senior vp/chief marketing officer. She will report to Michael Bloom, president and coo.
Wong most recently served as group vp of shopper marketing for Safeway supermarkets, where she led the creation of shopper marketing organization. She began her career with Proctor and Gamble where she held various roles.
