Capel to spotlight O'Brien and Gorder collections

Troy, N.C. - Capel Rugs is placing its new style point of view on color for High Point Market, focusing on vibrantly-hued product introductions for its licensed collections with two celebrity designers.

The urban and graphic influence of textile designer and artist Kevin O'Brien has been interpreted into three new rug collections set to launch at the market. Constructions for the program include a wool, loop-hooked construction.

And HGTV designer Genevieve Gorder is unveiling two new flat woven collections, expanding her program with Capel with new globally-inspired patterns on hand-loomed, low-pile rugs.

To promote the line, Gorder will be visiting Capel's showroom Oct. 14 and 15 to meet with customers. Capel will also hold a contest in which two winners will each receive a 5-by-8 Genevieve Gorder rug.
