Protect-A-Bed holds BTC sweepstakes on Pinterest for a dorm makeover

Chicago - Just in time for the back-to-college season, bedding protection products company Protect-A-Bed has launched its new "Dream Dorm" campaign to introduce its presence on Pinterest and encourage fans to interact through a "Pin it to Win it" sweepstakes.

The sweepstakes requires college students or their families to follow Protect-A-Bed on Pinterest. Participants are encouraged to pin examples of their dream dorm rooms to become eligible to win a dorm makeover.

"We wanted to have a fun and engaging way to launch Protect-A-Bed's presence on Pinterest, and make college students aware of the benefits of creating a ‘Healthy Sleep Zone' in a fun way," said James Bell, ceo. "Our Pinterest followers will have a chance to win Protect-A-Bed bedding protection for healthier sleep and a new look for their dorm."

To enter, students or their family members must follow Protect-A-Bed on Pinterest (www.Pinterest.com/protectabed), create a Dream Dorm board where they can pin the sweepstakes rules and their favorite Protect-A-Bed product, along with other dorm accessories. The pins must include #DreamDorm2012 and #Protect-A-Bed to be eligible. To finalize the entry, links to individuals' boards must be emailed to marketing@protectabed.com.

The campaign ends on Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. EDT. Winners will be announced around 3 p.m. EDT on Aug. 28.

The first prize winner will receive a Student Bedding Protection Kit from Protect-A-Bed and the grand prize winner will win a Student Bedding Protection Kit plus a $500 gift card to Bed, Bath & Beyond.
