Sleep Studio to debut Biofresh

New York - Sleep Studio will launch a biodegradable, odorless, and breathable foam called Biofresh during the New York Home Fashions Market, which takes place Sept. 10-13.
Biofresh is available in a full range of foam qualities. including memory foam and gel memory foam. Sleep Studio will show the foam in mattress toppers, pillows and mattresses.
"We know for a fact that when considering purchasing a memory foam product, consumers are concerned with heat build-up, chemical odors and the environment. Biofresh is revolutionary in its ability to solve all three problems," said Michael Rothbard, president.
Fluffy marketing, Lexington, KY? Please! Your obviously well versed in polyurethane chemistry, but your comments do not apply. We don't use soy from Cargill or anywhere else (we use alternative plant-based ingredients that outperform soy). In regards to our biodegradable claims, we have ASTM standard tests on finished product to back them up.
Michael Rothbard - 2012-08-16 16:52:05 EDTAdding soy derived polyol to polyurethane bonds renders the naturally derived soy polyol non-biodegradable. Check with Cargill, Hydrogenating the natural veggie oils prevents biodegrading of material, especially once it's mixed with the Isocyanate.... fluffy marking and quite a stretch. I also doubt the gel will break down in any way in 1000 years of landfill exposure
