Balta's ceo Moves On

SINT-BAAFS-VIJVE, BELGIUM - Rug and flooring manufacturer Balta Group said ceo Jules Noten will leave the company July 31 to pursue another opportunity. While the company searches for a successor, cfo Carl Verstraelen will also take on the chief executive's duties.
     "I leave behind a strong team with a clear agenda and a company with a positive culture. I have very much enjoyed my time at Balta and I wish my Balta colleagues the very best in the future," said Noten.
     Balta generated approximately $948 million in sales last year, according to the company. Its product categories include area rugs, carpet tiles, laminate and broadloom.
