Rizzy Home breaks ground on new manufacturing, DC facility

Home Textiles Today Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 7/18/2012 1:53:33 PM

Calhoun, Ga. - Rizzy Home this month began construction on a new manufacturing plant and distribution center site in India.
The plan is to produce new fabric styles there once the site is up and running by late 2013.
Mark Ferullo, vp of sales, told HTT the site will be able to do printing, sewing and that "it will be totally vertically integrated in pillows and bedding."
New categories to be layered into production with time will include soft window treatments and, later, table linens.
"We're not just an importer," Ferullo noted. "We also want to be able to make our own product and control it so that we can be a total source to our customers."
He added that the products to be made at the new facility will complement Rizzy Home's existing lines in both construction and fabrication.
