Calhoun, Ga. - Rizzy Home this month began construction on a new manufacturing plant and distribution center site in India.
The plan is to produce new fabric styles there once the site is up and running by late 2013.
Mark Ferullo, vp of sales, told HTT the site will be able to do printing, sewing and that "it will be totally vertically integrated in pillows and bedding."
New categories to be layered into production with time will include soft window treatments and, later, table linens.
"We're not just an importer," Ferullo noted. "We also want to be able to make our own product and control it so that we can be a total source to our customers."
He added that the products to be made at the new facility will complement Rizzy Home's existing lines in both construction and fabrication.
once again our American purchase and American dollars will not help Americans or stay around to help our economy. how sad another one bites the dust.
Carla Bravo - 2012-07-18 23:48:47 EDTOh how sad. I am sure that there are plenty of domestic locations with residents that would be eager to work in one of Rizzy Home's facilities.
Another kick in the pants for the good ole USA! Good job Rizzy Home!
