Target and Neiman Marcus teaming up for holiday collection

Minneapolis and Dallas - Cheap chic and chi-chi are joining forces for Holiday 2012 as Target and Neiman Marcus will jointly offer a collection of 50 products designed by 24 designers in categories including women's, men's, home and children's.
Most items will be priced under $60, although the full range of retailers runs from $7.99 to $499.99.
The ad campaign will encompass TV, print and digital and will launch this fall, according to NMdaily, the Neiman Marcus blog. In addition, the retailers will jointed donate $1 million to the Council of Fashion Designs of America.
Designers included in the holiday program include:

  • Carolina Herrera
  • Derek Lam
  • Diane von Furstenberg
  • Eddie Borgo
  • Jason Wu
  • Judith Leiber

  • Marc Jacobs
  • Oscar de la Renta
  • Philip Crangi
  • Prabal Gurung
  • Proenza Schouler
  • Rag & Bone
  • Robert Rodriguez
  • Rodarte
  • Skaist-Taylor
  • Thom Browne
  • Tory Burch
  • Tracy Reese

Target's Gregg Steinhafel, chairman, president and ceo, described the collaboration as "unlike anything Target has done before."
The retailers will offer updates and sneak peeks NMdaily.com and Target's blog, ABullseyeView.com as well as on Twitter @NeimanMarcus, @ABullseyeView and #Holiday24.
