Calhoun, Ga. - Area rug and home accessories manufacturer Surya Inc. has received a 2012 Global Impact Award from the Metro Atlanta Chamber.
The awards honor international businesses that have made "an outstanding impact on metro Atlanta's global economy and community."
Surya won in the category of "Economic Development: Foreign Investment."
Other winners included:
• Hannah Solar for Economic Development: Trade/Business Development;
• HLB Gross Collins P.C. for Service Provider;
• National Association of Chinese Americans (NACA) for Global Impact.
