Amer Rugs leases temporary space for Atlanta Market

Norcross, Ga. - Amer Rugs, a rug source based here, has leased an approximately 3,500-square-foot temporary space, 5-D-2 in AmercasMart Building 1, for the July Atlanta International Area Rug Market, which runs in conjunction with the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.
The company leased the same temporary space, in addition to its approximately 3,500-square-foot permanent space 5-A-11, during the January Market. According to Monika Gupta, coo, Amer Rugs, leasing the temporary showroom in January "was a very successful experiment."
"Our prime focus on doing this again is to provide leverage to our retailers and designers who look for special deals on one-of-a-kind rugs available for immediate delivery," Gupta continued.
Amer Rugs will show hand-knotted and hand-tufted rugs, ranging from sizes 2-feet-by-3-feet to 12-feet-by-18-feet as well as non-program rugs from its award-winning Kohinoor and Ottoman Collections in the temporary space.
The Atlanta Internatioanl Area Rug Market will be held July 12-15 and the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market will run July 11-18.
