Ruggiero looks to Americana for Showtime collection

High Point, N.C. - Joe Ruggiero's Sunbrella introductions at next month's Showtime fabric fair here will drawn on three themes: Native American motifs, men's suiting and coastal designs.
"You can trace our nation's history through its textiles and the ways in which fabrics reflect dynamic changes sweeping through the culture," said Ruggiero.
The new designs represent the broadest addition to Ruggiero's Sunbrella offerings since it launched 10 years ago.
The Native American group is inspired by blankets, rugs and bead work. The collection also nods toward hand-woven techniques. The Men's Suiting collection offers a masculine approach to home interiors. The Coastal grouping draws from the sea and includes botanicals.
"Our Sunbrella fabrics reflect close collaborations not only with the Glen Raven marketing, design and manufacturing teams but also with the hundreds of professional designers who I meet during my travels throughout the country," said Ruggiero.
Showtime will take place June 3-6. The Sunbrella showroom is located at 336 S. Wren St.
