Lands' End On The Block?

The New York Post last week reported that Sears Holding is quietly shopping for a buyer for the Lands' End business, which Sears acquired a decade ago when Alan Lacy was ceo.
     According to the Post, "Lampert, who inherited Lands' End when he took control of Sears in 2005 by merging it with Kmart, has approached a handful of private-equity firms as he looks to raise as much as $2 billion in cash, sources said."
