Nourison taps Kennedy as vp, home textiles

Saddle Brook, NJ - Nourison has hired 35-year industry veteran Kevin Kennedy to head its growing home textiles division.
Most recently, Kennedy worked at his own consulting company in New York. Prior to that, he was coo of Glenoit LLC and Glenoit's Consumer Products Division. He has also held various management positions at Couristan Inc.
In his new position he reports to Steven Peykar, Nourison's co-ceo. He is responsible for developing and strengthening Nourison's home accent products programs, including area rugs, scatter rugs and decorative accessories.
"We are very pleased to have someone with Kevin's experience on our team," said Peykar. "He is a highly accomplished, results-oriented person and I am certain he will help us increase our market share in this important and growing category for our company."
