Textiles sustainability conference set for May

Research Triangle Park, N.C. - The American Association of Textile Colorists and Chemists' (AATCC) Chemical Applications Interest Group and the Southern Textile Research Conference (STRC) will host a conference next month to examine sustainability, innovation and opportunity in the textiles industry.
Topics include supply chain collaboration, optimizing the dyeing process, digital innovations in garment finishing, a low liquor finishing process, insect-repellent textiles technologies, advances in phase change material and cotton performance as well as three sessions related to nanotechnologies.
The conference will take place May 20-22 at Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort in Pawley's Island, S.C.
