Burgess to lead Saks ecommerce

New York - Saks Incorporated has named Michael Burgess president of Saks Direct, effective May 7.
Saks.com's home textiles brands include Ralph Lauren, Sferra, Diane Von Furtsenberg, Frette, Matouk, Natori, Etro, Queen of Cashmere and Missoni.
Burgess will report to Denise Incandela, executive vp and chief marketing officer for Saks Fifth Avenue and the current president of Saks Direct.
Burgess was most recently executive vp FTD's consumer division at United Online.
