High Point's Made in America Pavilion expands

High Point, N.C. - Four home textiles suppliers are among the nearly 50 exhibitors participating in High Point Market's second Made in America Pavilion at Market Square & Suites.

They are:

  • Artisan Weavers/Beljen Mills, which produce high-end textiles made of U.S.-grown cotton and wool in designs that the company described as "passed down for generations";
  • Salmagundi Inc., which offers collaged furniture as well as tuffets, throws and pillows;
  • Sarahjanes Oilcloth/The Preppy Possum, a manufacturer of oilcloth-made aprons, beach bags, tablecloths, placemats and other items;
  • Sweetwater Trading Co., which makes pillows of European leathers in lodge, Western, Native American, novelty, animal and equestrian themes.

Made in America Pavilion will cover nearly 32,000 square feet of space, showcasing American-made furniture, lighting, rugs, wall art and decorative accessories.

"This area was a huge hit at the October market, generating a true ‘buzz' among retailers, designers, exhibitors and the media," said Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers.

The market will take place April 21-26.
