Bon-Ton Stores to open new Herberger's store in Pocatello, Idaho, this fall

York, Pa. - The Bon-Ton Stores Inc. has signed a lease with General Growth Properties to occupy a 122,500 square foot facility at the Pine Ridge Mall in Pocatello, Idaho for a new Herberger's store.

The company said it will initially remodel and operate a store solely on the lower level of this facility in approximately 61,300 square feet. Remodeling of the site is expected to begin in April and be completed by the end of October, at which time Bon-Ton will open the new store.

The Pine Ridge Herberger's location will be the first store in Idaho for Bon-Ton, and will feature a complete merchandise assortment, including home. The Pine Ridge Mall is currently anchored by Sears, JCPenney and ShopKo.

Brendan Hoffman, president and ceo, said the company is looking forward "to opening our first Idaho location and believe the addition of a Herberger's in the Pine Ridge Mall will enhance the total shopping experience for consumers in this market."
