Amer Rugs opening High Point Market showroom

Norcross, Ga. -- Amer Rugs will open a High Point Market showroom in time for the April 21-26 show.The rug manufacturer's 2,000-square-foot space is in Suites at Market Square, Mezzanine level, M-4042.
Tanuj Gupta, president of sales and marketing at Amer Rugs, decided that the company should show in High Point after a successful winter Atlanta Market. Amer Rugs won the hand-knotted $30.01-$50 per square foot division of the 2012 America's Magnificent Carpets Awards, presented by AmericasMart during the January market.
The company will serve drinks and hors d'oeuvres in its showroom each afternoon during the market. New collections including Ottoman, Kohinoor and Pearl will be among the product offerings displayed.
Amer Rugs will also unveil its digital product e-catalog for 2012 during the High Point Market. It will be accessible from the company's website, launching April 1. Users will be able to view the catalog as a flip pdf file or download it to their computers, according to the company.
