Heimtextil goes to work on trends

Frankfurt, Germany - Heimtextil, the largest international home textiles trade fair, has selected the designers for its new Trendtable, which will put together trends for the 2013/14 season.
Orbitato is the first Brazilian trend-research institute to take part in the Heimtextil Trendtable. The South Brazilian organization is represented by creative director Celaine Refosco, an expert for both interior design and fashion.
2G2L Fashion Design and Consulting from France is represented by founders Louis Gérin and Grégory Lamaud, who created the ‘Les Garçons Paris'fashion label and are experts for avant-garde fashion themes.
Stijlinstituut Amsterdam from The Netherlands is responsible for the conceptual development of the Heimtextil Trends 2013/14. Anne Marie Commandeur heads a team of designers focusing on the fields of textile innovations, prognoses, color trends and strategic design concepts.
Dan Project from Japan is headed by young designers Dan and Gen Namura, who trace their origins back to the ‘yuzen' technique of dyeing and weaving kimono fabrics in Kyoto.
Global Color Research from the United States is a leading trend
studio for color and design. Mark Woodman, trend consultant for North America, represents the company on the Trendtable.
The bora.herke.palmisano design agency based in Berlin and Frankfurt is represented by Cem Bora, Claudia Herke and Annetta Palmisano, who have been developing modern trends since 1990.
The results of the Trendtable and the Heimtextil Trend Book 2013/14 will be previewed during the Tendence trade fair in Frankfurt from Aug. 24-28.
The 2013 Heimtextil show will take place Jan. 9-12.
