Rio Home to produce Prince of Scots bedding

City of Industry, Calif. - Rio Home Fashions, a supplier of bedding, memory foam and home textiles, has signed a licensing partnership with Prince of Scots to build a new product category in basic bedding.
The agreement includes the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, and China. The Prince of Scots line will support the launch a new washable wool category Rio calls "The True Down Alternative."
RIO has developed a natural down alternative using luxury of fine wool fibers that feels and performas like down, according the company. Product care is machine wash/tumble dry.
The Prince of Scots Home Collection will include basic bedding products such as memory foam bed pillows, memory foam mattress pads and toppers, fiber and feather beds, comforters, mattress pads, bed pillows, and The True Down Alternative.
"Our new collection of washable wool is our commitment to deliver fashion and value in a basic category," said Matt Caccioppo, executive vp, Rio.

Rio is a third-generation family-owned home textiles company. Established 35 years ago in China as a cut and sew factory, it has grown to supply U.S. textile companies. The company has a dedicated sales team and a West Coast distribution center, and directly operates and has joint-ventures in cut and sew and memory foam factories in China
