Sanitized AG introduces new version of Sanitized TH 22-27 antimicrobial treatment

Home Textiles Today Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 2/16/2012 11:50:42 AM

Greenville, S.C. - Antimicrobial hygiene protection source Sanitized AG has developed an improved version of its "Sanitized TH 22-27" for the North American market.

This antimicrobial treatment was developed as a hygienic textile finish used especially on synthetic and wool fabrics with direct skin contact and that may require high-wash durability.

Developed and produced in Switzerland, Sanitized TH 22-27 has "a reliable and durable antimicrobial effect against bacteria," claims the company, in that it destabilizes the bacterial cell wall and deactivates bacteria that cause unpleasant odors. As a result, the end consumers who purchase products treated with Sanitized TH 22-27 "enjoy the benefit of freshness."

By using an adapted version of Sanitized TH 22-27, this benefit of freshness can also be extended to home textiles. Whether bedding, carpeting, curtains, or upholstery, the freshness "brings a sense of security and serenity to these end customers that provides comfort to their homes."

Sanitized AG said such home textiles include carpets, textile wall coverings, upholstery fabric, indoor furniture, sleeping bags, sun blinds, umbrellas, shoe linings, and automotive textiles. Also included are bedding textiles such as covers for pillows and duvets, mattress protectors, and bed linens.
