DesignWeave USA adds merchandising, marketing role

Appointee charged with heading, accelerating innovations

Dayton, N.J. – DesignWeave USA is bolstering its executive team with a new hire in a newly created post.

Tracy Laskowski Miller joins the innovative bedding company as executive vice president of merchandising and marketing. She reports to ceo Henry Wang.

Miller hails from Pacific Coast Feather Company, where she worked with retailers developing special lines of consumer finished goods as well as with the company’s wholesale feather-and-down division serving the apparel, furniture and home decorating industries.

“Tracy is an experienced, accomplished leader and spokesperson with a track record of innovation and new product success at the most respected companies in retail and hospitality," Wang said. "She has made a name for herself delivering on innovative products and breakthrough ideas in performance materials…Her wealth of technical expertise and unique vision in the basic bedding category will be a tremendous asset to our team and customers. This investment will enable us to further lead the way in the adoption and roll-out of emerging sleep technologies.”

In her new role, Miller is charged with spearheading and accelerating innovation and growth across DesignWeave USA’s portfolio of technologies for sheets, pillows, comforters and mattress pads. These efforts will include “37.5 Technology”, a microclimate comfort and performance technology which Miller has spent the past several years researching, engineering and marketing for its use in fabrics and in down and down-alternative fills.
