Obeetee picks up shipping speed with “Express” program
November 8, 2017,
New York – Upscale hand-woven area rug house Obeetee is marking two firsts this month.
One is the company’s debut at the Boutique Design New York (BDNY) hospitality show, Nov. 12-13, here at the Jacob K. Javits Center. Obeetee will be located in booth No. 1374.
As Obeetee explained, “Express” suits the hospitality sector as well as corporate interiors, “while also being luxurious enough for home."
The program offers hand-tufted carpets with a two-week lead time for strike-offs after rendering approval, and a six-to-eight week production time for most sizes.
Now available on the new Obeetee Express website are hundreds of designs, from animal patterns to deconstructed looks and updated traditional motifs. And for specific needs, customers can also submit their own designs.
Additionally, Express offers 194 stocked colors in 100% New Zealand wool. But other hues from Obeetee's bank of more than 4,000 colors and additional fibers like silk, viscose, nylon and cotton are possible with a customized lead time.
The carpets are available in two levels of density.
The Express website also allows customers to view rugs in various room settings and print or email samples to clients.
Obeetee Express officially launched in October with a collection of 17 designs created by known designers and architects, to benefit DIFFA -- Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS. The designs are offered on the Express website, and 10% of net sales go to support DIFFA.
Many of Obeetee's DIFFA Collection pieces will be on display at the DIFFA exhibit area in booth No. 1253 at BDNY.
