Cost Plus boasts sales, comp increases over the holidays

Home furnishings and gourmet food purveyor Cost Plus Inc. cooked up a 6.5% sales increase and a 7.4% comp gain over the nine-week holiday selling period ended Dec. 31.
     Sales rose 6.5% to $295.5 million.
