Surya, decorator celeb Angelo Surmelis align for new collection for Vegas market

Calhoun, Ga. - Surya is gearing up for the launch of its newest licensed collection, "angelo:HOME," created in conjunction with celebrity designer Angelo Surmelis.

To fete the debut of this new collection, Surya will be hosting a mixer from 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 31 at its World Market showroom in space B-370 during the upcoming Las Vegas Market.

Guests to the event will be able to meet Surmelis - who has conducted more than 400 makeovers on television programs for the TLC, HGTV, Lifetime and Style cable channels -- as well as view his new 22-piece area, accent and runner rug collection, which Surya helped design to be an extension of his affordable branded offerings. The rugs are set to retail for $49 through $599.

Surmelis' brand, angelo:HOME, was created to bring affordable style to any home, he said. His current roster of licensed products spans more than 350 items and ranges from chairs, sofas, loveseats and nesting ottomans to woven and printed bedding sets, case goods, and now Surya's rugs.
