Elaine Smith fetes 20th anniversary with new launch

Elaine Smith West Palm Beach, Fla. – Designer Elaine Smith is celebrating two decades of creating “inconceivably versatile” luxury dec pillows that can live inside and outdoors.

“Pillows are my world,” she told POSH from her IHFC showroom at High Point Market this week. “Everything I see is an inspiration for a new pillow, whether it be a Gucci gladiator jacket or a purse or a flower.”

Her complete line is made of Sunbrella fabrics and fibers, making them weather-proof and resistant to fading and staining.

“I want my pillows to reflect where I live and my lifestyle,” she continued. “I have pets, I love to entertain, and if someone spills wine on a pillow, it’s not a big deal. Nothing is ruined because I’ve made sure to make my pillows livable.”

She also noted that all of her pillows are designed and made in the United States in her operations here.

Aside from being outdoor-friendly, Elaine Smith’s assortment is highly decorative and chic, employing hand-embellishments and a range of patterns and motifs. Her newest offering includes rope designs and treatments.
