Obeetee hosting auction party for DIFFA on Thursday

New quick-ship program will benefit HIV/AIDS support

New York – Obeetee will officially launch the first offerings from its new express ship program with a fundraiser for DIFFA (Design Industries Fighting AIDS).

The hand-woven rug company will host a party on Thursday, Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at its New York showroom, 137 W. 25th St., 12th floor.

Seventeen new designs from the Obeetee Express quick-ship program will be offered as part of a silent auction to benefit DIFFA, which supports the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Featured designers include Antonino Buzzetta, Arlene Angard, Asler Valero, William Reue, Christopher Trujillo, Darren Varden, dash design, Marks & Frantz, Michael Tavano, M Moser, Patrick Hamilton, Reeta Gyamiani, Tina Ramchandani, Verda Alexander for Studio O+A, V Starr Interiors, Wesley Moon and Wuno.

The collection is called Specify With Care and created in collaboration with DIFFA. Going forward, Of the 10% of net sales from the collection will go to the non-profit.
