GHCL expands for the future

New Delhi, India - GHCL Textile, a part of the Dalmia Group, is in expansion mode.
The textiles manufacturer plans to expand in-house weaving capacity by 50%. The processing capacity is to grow by an additional 40%. Made-up capacity on similar lines is being expanded by 50%
Some of the capacity will be used to take on more non-U.S. business, the company said.
GHCL's textiles business does about $110 million annually. Its exports grew by more than 100% last year, according to the company.
Its current production capacity runs to 36 million meters per year and its product range includes sheets, top of bed and curtains.
