Home Textiles Today Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 1/11/2012 12:38:52 PM

New York - Royal Heritage Home LLC, a longtime marketer of sheeting and top-of-bed ensembles as well as allergy-avoidance and mattress protection products, has acquired the assets of Allergy Control Products Inc.

Founded in 1983 and said to be the second largest company in environmental control & allergen avoidance segment, Allergy Control Products sells allergy mattress protectors, HEPA air purification systems, sinus relief products, bed bug treatments, respirator masks, water filters and asthma products direct to consumers and also sells its product line at wholesale. It uses a network of more than 6,000 allergists to promote its product line, which encompasses in excess of 700 items.

The company's website is www.allergycontrol.com, and it will maintain its office and warehouse in Danbury, Conn.

Jeffrey Tauber, chairman and ceo of Royal Heritage Home, his company's acquisition of Allergy Products "is the second large acquisition of numerous planned acquisitions in the allergy segment."

Over the past seven years, Royal Heritage has expanded its business through numerous acquisitions, including a bedding ensemble business, an allergy mattress and pillow protection business, a futon cover business and its acquisition of Rainbow Linens.
