HTT Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 1/5/2012 2:20:56 PM

High Point, N.C. - Luxury furniture maker Theodore Alexander has appointed Thomas Woller to the new position of president of its upholstery division.

Woller will be responsible for expanding the company's fabric upholstery lines for the Theodore Alexander, Althorp Living History and Keno Bros. brands. He will be based in Theodore Alexander's U.S. headquarters here and will report to ceo Harvey Dondero.

Woller has many years of high-end upholstery experience, including key management positions with Baker Furniture and Sherrill Furniture. Most recently, Woller was the upholstery business unit manager with the Kohler Interiors Group with direct responsibility for the Baker and Dapha upholstery product lines.

In his new position, Woller will manage upholstery product development, marketing and manufacturing, including technical oversight for the upholstery operations at the company's facility in Vietnam. All upholstery products will be sold globally through the existing Theodore Alexander sales force and distribution network.

"Consolidating the management of our upholstery business meets the next phase of our strategic growth initiative," said Dondero. "Having Thom lead the division provides us with an enormous amount of expertise and creativity moving forward."
