AmericasMart offers Wi-Fi to tenants, market-goers

Atlanta - The AmericasMart here has partnered with iBAHN, a provider of IP-based entertainment and information services for the hospitality and meeting industries, to offer its tenants and guests access to a new state-of the-art wireless interet network.

AmericasMart now has Wi-Fi on all temporary tradeshow floors and in its Living, Outdoor/Indoor, and The Gardens sections as well as in its building lobbies and meeting room spaces.

"We have an ongoing mission to provide the ultimate market experience for our buyers and exhibitors," said Jeffrey Portman Sr., president and coo of AmericasMart. "That includes advancing their businesses by providing leading resources and services. Wi-Fi access will give buyers and exhibitors on-site access to the worldwide web and our new website which incorporates a wealth of innovative tools to help plan market visits and access all the assets of the world's global market."

For a fee, data service will be made available to buyers and temporary exhibitors on a daily and/or market basis. Users can connect to the wireless network AmericasMart, open their internet browser, and select the preferred connection method.

Pricing is set at $8.95 for daily (24-hour) access or $24.95 for unlimited access during market dates, AmericasMart added.
