Bardwil adds seasoned exec to sales/merchandising team

Reed Raggio joins table and bath linens supplier

At the New York Market – Bardwil Linens has named a 33-year textiles veteran its new svp of sales and merchandising.

Reed Raggio was most recently with Peking Handicraft, where he served as vp of sales and marketing.

Prior to that he spent eight years with CHF Industries, first as vp of merchandising for the Donna Karan Home program before becoming svp of the company.

Earlier he was with Springs Industries, Springs Global, WestPoint Stevens and Dan River – the latter where he launched his career in 1994 serving as a regional sales manager.

At Bardwil Linens, he reports to president Alan Kennedy.

“Reed and I have had the pleasure of working together in the textile industry in the past, and I was extremely impressed with his marketing savvy and aggressiveness,” said Kennedy. “He brings to Bardwil a wealth of experience gained from senior level positions in sales and marketing at many premier home textile firms. We already see the fruits of his drive and determination convert into revenue generation.”
