New York - Color and trend expert Doty Horn will present "Underground Trends" Dec. 7 at a session hosted by the New York Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association here.
The program will examine "subversive trends that drive an undercurrent of influences in the home furnishings market," according to the IFDA. The event will take place at the New York Design Center's conference room, 200 Lexington Ave. (at 33rd St).
A wine reception begins at 5:30 p.m., with the color trend presentation running from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Horn is the director of ColorVoyant Visionary Color Marketing - a business-to-business color marketing firm she founded earlier this year. She was previously director of color and design for Benjamin Moore and has won several awards in the field of trendspotting.

Early registration is open through Friday, Dec. 2 with the following fee structure: IFDA members $20; non-members $40; IFDA student members $5; non-member students $15.

The fees for registration after Dec. 2 are: IFDA members $35; non-members $55; IFDA student members $15; non-member students $25.
